Tax Highlights From the 2022 New Brunswick Budget

Finance Minister Ernie Steeves tabled the 2022/2023 New Brunswick provincial budget on March 22, 2022.

 

The budget projects a surplus of $35.2 million for the upcoming 2022/2023 fiscal year and an increase in net debt of $15 million to reach $12.99 billion by end of March 2023. The forecast surplus for the almost completed 2021/2022 fiscal year now stands at $487.8 million, compared to a projected deficit of $244.8 million. Read more here.
